REGISTRATION

Have you developed your own breed? If you would like your own breed to be officially registered with the SIKC, fill out the form below. Registered breeds are free to compete in respective events and conformation shows under the Novus Group or paired with their relevant real-world equivalent group.

AS OF JAN 2020 NEW BREEDS ARE OPEN FOR REGISTRATION! MORE INFO CAN BE FOUND HERE.

NOVUS BREED REGISTRATION

You should have a clear idea of what you would like your new breed to be before you attempt to register it. We do not accept unrealistic breeds, unrealistic coat colours or cross-breeds between canines and other species.

Your breed should be as realistic and as well-thought-out as possible! We reserve the right to decline your application if your form lacks necessary information, does not include the required pictures, or if your breed is far too unrealistic without logical explanations for the unrealism.

All dogs of new breeds will be registered under the Novus registry.

Novus means new in Latin and it's the word we associate with breeds created by members of SIKC.

If members have a history of creating and abandoning their breeds over and over, we will may require them to retire an older breed before a new one can be created or decide that we will not be registering another Novus breed from them without a clear intent to be active with them.

Starting Funds

Each new account will start with $0 in SIKC funds and need to fill out an Introduction Form before you can be awarded your starting funds. If your account was created before July 2019 and you've already been awarded your funds you will still need to fill out an Introduction Form before your dogs can be approved for registration.

Non-kennel accounts, who are simply here to share some stories about their dogs with us, are more than welcome and will be awarded a smaller starter fund to help you pay for some of the services offered by our community!
